Create a hotel concept in the iconic REX cinema building in Bethnal Green, London.

A design that plays off of the history of the building, taking in the bedrooms, public spaces and a cinema that is accessible for the general public.

RESULT

TRIBE is a boutique hotel with a unique charm, housed in a beautifully repurposed old cinema. Its design pays homage to the building's cinematic roots, featuring art deco touches and curated art that evoke a sense of nostalgia. Guests can unwind at the on-site restaurant,TRIBE offers a distinct and memorable experience that celebrates its heritage while embracing contemporary comforts.
